Fundraising Year 2024
Dear Sponsor/Golfer,
The Middletown Lions Club, a 501c3 organization, is hosting our 46th Annual Golf Scramble on Monday, June 10, 2024, at Weissinger Hills Golf Course in Shelbyville, KY. Our golf scramble is our largest annual single fundraising event of the year.
For 46 years we have proudly supported local businesses and charitable organizations: providing supplies and helping to serve breakfast at the Wayside Christian Mission, vision screenings at the Kentucky State Fair and other local health fairs with the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation, planting trees in our community, hosting food drives to support local food pantries and more. Our members also help to provide eyeglasses to those in need in our area, help to provide supplies to local teachers and schools and support other local non-profit organizations. We are asking you to support our Club by (1) sending a team to play in our upcoming golf scramble. Please see the enclosed golf registration form for further details about how to get involved. If you do not golf, we ask that you please consider (2) becoming a sponsor or donating gift cards. While we know that the past couple of years has been difficult for you and many, we realize that our services are needed more than ever before, and we cannot continue these services without your help/support. Please join in our commitment to support the needs of our community by participating in our golf scramble. Contributions to the Middletown Lions Club (MLC) are tax-deductible.
