The 2019 Middletown Festival will take place on Friday, September 6 and Saturday, September 7. Our Middletown Lions Club will participate on Saturday from 2:00 to 5:30 P.M, by providing eye screening for children from six months old and up. The SPOT camera is used to take a picture of the child’s eyes in a dark room. It is a very simple test and it is not invasive. It helps detect problems like “lazy Eye” that can go untreated. But it provides the parent or legal guardian with the results to take the child to the eye doctor, if a problem is found. Also, there will be prizes for kids who participate. Hope to see many children at the festival.
