This past Saturday, members of Middletown Lions Club participated in the First Baptist Health Fair. As many are aware, the Lions throughout the world have been known as knights for the blind since compelled by Helen Keller to fight blindness. Over the years, we have integrated other initiatives in our areas of focus. Today we also include childhood cancer, diabetes, disaster relief, our environment, humanitarian efforts and hunger. We were happy to support the attendees and other exhibitors in trying to improve the health and welfare of our community.
